Home | Contact Us    Company History Industrial Electronics, Inc. started in 1970 when the electronics department salesman for a hardware store that was going out of business purchased the electronics department.  From that humble beginning, Industrial Electronics has grown steadily to become a leading regional distributor with local and international connections. As a market leading, knowledge-based distributor, Industrial Electronics supplies instrumentation, control items and components, and provides unique value added services to a variety of industries. Industrial Electronics principal owner is Paulette Franklin. The company’s President is Tony Franklin. Senior Vice President is Roger McCoig. New Facilities Due to continued growth and to better serve customer requirements, Industrial Electronics, Inc. moved into a new facility in September 2006.  Our new Cogdill Road location encompasses approximately 20,000 sq. ft. of office space and meeting areas, expanded customer service center, as well a significant increase in warehouse space. The New IEknox.com IE's new website and online catalog make it easy for buyers and design engineers to view our suppliers' product lines and to place orders.   We will be continually adding new product lines, so check back often! Broad-Based Product Line IE's continued success is due in part to its broad-based line card of electronic components from well over 150 premiere industry suppliers.  IE is an authorized distributor of product lines that include semiconductors, optoelectronics, passives, circuit protection, interconnects, wire and cable, fiber optic cables and assemblies, electromechanical, sensors, enclosures, thermal management, power sources, test, tools, and specialty products. In addition to the broad product line-up, IE's supplier base continues to grow to include a wide cross section of recognized manufacturers in the industry.  New suppliers and their respective product lines are continually added, making Industrial Electronics the design engineers' one-stop shop for all the components necessary for total product design projects.   Personalized Customer Service Industrial Electronics believes in providing our customers with the very best customer service, regardless of the size of the customer or the size of the order. We have the capacity to provide large kit quantities to CEMs, individual components to design engineers, or quick turn value added services.  At the same time, we are small enough to be able to provide one-on-one, personalized service, and go the extra mile to take care of the customer’s special requests.  Whatever the customer need, Industrial Electronics helps them produce.
